King's Bay Gold Information

Information

Regional geology for the Halkirk-Watten Property is characterized by mainly intrusive mafic to ultramafic rocks within a circular structure bounded by the Quetico and Rainy-River Faults. The area has been known to produce sub-economic values in copper, nickel, platinum, palladium, lead, silver, gold, and zinc (both MMS and VMS style volcanogenic deposits) and diamonds.

A number of years ago, Metal Corp. discovered a diamond occurrence close to the King’s Bay Gold boundary and has been actively exploring for Ni-Cu mineralization along the south-eastern limb of this large circular intrusive structure.

Work Completed in 2010 and 2011

- No work was carried out on these claim units in 2010 and 2011 with the exception of the re-staking a main portion of the claim group out to the west end of the property; the core group was kept in good standing with diamond drilling credits from previous years’ work assessment.

Work Contemplated in 2012

- Fall 2012 – Geological Mapping, Reconnaissance Sampling & Analysis, Drill Target Verification
for up to 8 diamond drill holes (locations as identified from a heli-borne Time Domain
E.M. Survey (VTEM) and a Cesium Magnetometer survey performed over the claim
group in 2006) $50,000
